OMNES : The Journal of Multicultural Society was launched in 2010 and is Korea’s only English-language journal on multicultural studies. The journal carries research articles which look at the phenomenon of global migration and political, economic, social, and cultural issues of a multicultural society from an inter-disciplinary approach. OMNES was selected for listing as KCI by the National Research Foundation of Korean in 2016 and has since, with aim of listing on SCOPUS and SSCI, continued to provide understanding and insight to multicultural studies scholars and practitioner around the world.

We are currently accepting manuscripts for OMNES: The Journal of Multicultural Society Vol.9 No.2 that will be published on July 31, 2019. To be considered for the upcoming issue, OMNES 11(1), please submit your manuscript by October 30, 2020. Submissions are open all year round.
OMNES, meaning “everyone” in Latin, is a peer-reviewed biannual publication. We welcome manuscripts that deal with themes concerning the global movement of people, human security related to migration, multicultural or multiracial society, cultural diversity, refugees, social integration, nationalism, culture, identity, civil rights and other relevant topics. We are seeking an interdisciplinary approach in the area of politics, economy, society, culture, language, literature, history, philosophy, and the arts.
OMNES publishes rigorous theoretical or empirical research articles, review articles, research notes, and book reviews. The editors invite submissions from researchers in all fields of social science and humanities.
OMNES is indexed and abstracted in Korea Citation Index (KCI) as of 2016.

OMNES welcomes manuscripts that deal with themes concerning the global movement of people, human security related to migration, multicultural society, social integration, and other relevant topics. OMNES publishes rigorous theoretical or empirical research articles, review articles, research notes, and book reviews. Policy/opinion pieces may be considered for publication.
The acceptance criteria for all papers are the quality and originality of the research and its scholarly significance to our readership. Submitted manuscripts should be original pieces of work that have not been published in other places or not currently on offer to another publisher. Except where otherwise stated, manuscripts are peer reviewed by three anonymous reviewers and the editor. Final acceptance or rejection rests with the Editorial Board, who reserves the right to refuse any material for publication.
Manuscripts should not exceed 10,000 words including references and endnotes. They should be written in a clear, concise, direct style. Where contributions are judged as acceptable for publication on the basis of content, the Editor and the Publisher reserve the right to modify typescripts to eliminate ambiguity and repetition and improve communication between author and reader. If extensive alterations are required, the manuscript will be returned to the author for revision.
Submissions should be made via e-mail (omnes@sm.ac.kr) or submission system (http://www.omnesjournal.org).
All articles in this journal have undergone editorial screening and double-blind peer review by three reviewers. Reviewers include the editorial board and scholars in various fields.
Authors should submit manuscripts according to the following procedures. Authors should not reveal their identity on any page, except the title page which will not be sent to the reviewers. Manuscripts should be double-spaced. The manuscript should contain.
The references list should contain the complete publication details. OMNES editorial office will send detailed instructions for OMNES's endnote and reference style upon request. Please also consult OMNES website, www.omnesjournal.org or contact the editor at omnes@sm.ac.kr.
The APC is payable when your manuscript is editorially accepted and before publication. When it is known that your manuscript is based on a project funded by a third institution, you will be charged 200,000 KRW (approx. US$177) for an APC.
